CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
We have a vibrant and growing community of children at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with a variety of ways for you and your children to connect to God and one another.
INFANTS AND TODDLERS
Holy Trinity offers a nursery on Sunday mornings beginning at 10 a.m. for the 10:30 a.m. liturgy. The nursery cares for children up to age 3, although parents are welcome to bring their babies or children to worship. The nursery follows all health and safety protocols.
Sunday School
We have implemented Godly Play as one of our foundational Children’s Ministry for children ages four years through 3rd grade. Godly Play is a Montessori-based Christian Education curriculum designed to build upon a child’s innate sense of the Holy. The Godly Play approach helps children explore their faith through story, gives them a foundation for religious language, and “enhances their spiritual experience through wonder and play.” One of the beautiful components of this program is that it meets the children where they are and engages them on different and more profound levels as they grow through early, middle, and late childhood. We are so excited to see it continue to blossom in our community!
Children’s Church
On Sunday mornings, we invite all children ages four years through 5th grade to process out of the Nave during the announcements to have their worship experience. Once we are gathered in our worship space, we start in prayer, sing a song of praise and tell a sacred story. We also incorporate prayers of the people and wrap up our time together by passing the peace. Giving the children the opportunity to worship together makes it possible for them to make the sacred narrative their own and create community among other children in the parish.
Seasonal Events
We offer a variety of special events throughout the year. Some include the All Saints Parade, a St. Nicholas Party, the Christmas Pageant, and a Shrove Tuesday Pancake event.

Children’s Choir
Children’s Choir meets every Sunday and is led by our Music Minister, Dr. Jae Won Kim. The children rehearse from 11:45 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. All are welcome any time throughout the year!
