Fellowship

For many parishioners, Holy Trinity is not only their parish; it is their extended family.  Many of us have made friendships here that have become among our most cherished.  We know that the Christian faith is much more than belief in certain doctrines, important as they are.  The Christian faith is also about shared stories lived out in community.  We have the great stories of Holy Scripture, but we also have our own stories of happiness and sorrow, of triumph and defeat.  We know that we can share our stories and be ourselves at Holy Trinity because we are among friends who care about us and who share with us the love of Christ and of one another.

A few of the ways that we meet are at coffee hours following the 10:30 Eucharist on Sunday mornings, through Supper Club (groups of six to eight people who share dinner once a month for several months at a time), Keenagers (a monthly gathering of those over age 50), monthly church dinners with a variety of themes, Popcorn Theology (a movie shown on Sunday night once each month during the school year), and the Under the Hill group (20-somethings and 30- somethings who gather for fun and fellowship).  In addition, the women of the parish form a very lively chapter of the ECW, which offers the members fellowship among themselves while providing for the needs of others.
